Has anyone seen this? I did a search and didn't see this posted up yet. If you haven't seen this, you should because this is just pure harassment from authorities.

i guess 17 years on the force is too long these days

back when i skateboard if cops or security ever came around you just skated away, most cops won't get into a foot chase with you... That cop however mighta just shot us lol

Kid should have known better. I think the cop did go overboard when he pushed the kid down, but the kid has no respect for authority.

Kids will be kids, but the cop guy did go overboard. I guess when you sit on your ass all day and eat fatty foods and drink coffee, you miss out a lot on the exercise. Look how fat the cop guy is and is that a stomach strap?

props to the cop...i have nothing wrong with skateboarding or brakeing rules and skateing in the city...but kids these days are just assholes...more cops should be like that when little pricks think they can get away with whatever they want and dont have respect for their elders...thats whats wrong with the world today..no discipline and no respect..hes absoulty right...did he go overboard? yea maybe a little bit but still...i dont think he did anything wrong..he didnt hurt the kid, he didnt hit the kid, he didnt throw the kid to the ground...he gave him a real world perspective on what his parents arent doing. and if anyone tries to sue that cop for that they should be the ones sued and thrown in jail for a couple days just for being assholes and trying to get money out of people...thats my stand on that matter

I think that cop was just mad because they made him wear a funny uniform and drive that small funky lil ride. The cop over reacted and you can hear it in his words "Someone will kill you", for calling him "Dude"? Come on! Just listen to what the cop says, he did go too far. However, I love these videos when kids with no respect keep skateboarding after they were asked to leave and continue to be a disturbance, then when someone takes a swing at them, they say they got it on tape and they will sue. LOL Showing they are clearly guilty for agitating the situation.

That cop is a powertripping dick but I bet that little punk learned a lesson - he's lucky he learned it from a cop and not some other power tripping dick who might not have as vested of an interest in setting the kid straight. If that was my kid, I'd be pissed as HELL that that cop put his hands on my kid - that was just not necessary and way overboard IMO. But I'd also be pissed as HELL if my kid was dumb enough to call the cop "dude" and "man" and whatever else that is in the slightest bit less than respectful of his authority.

When i used to street skate and cops came to kick us out. We just gave them our information and left peacefully. The cop did go way overboard. People who don't skate say just go to skateparks. Skateparks and street skating is completely different.

Either way they the cop acted like a idiot and the kid didn't respect what the cop was saying.

Dude, i swear if they ran away from the cop he lookded he was ready to take out his baton or a gun if he had one and point it to the kids head. Why the **** did he wrestle a 14yr old kid to the ground to grab his skateboard? What a douche

totally wrong. i've been skating for close to 8 years now. i've been kicked out of places, harassed, almost arrested but never has a cop put their hands on me in such a way. i understand the whole respect thing everyone is mentioning but this is completely different. Even with not knowing what went down before the camera started filming, the cop was way out of line.

...is that even a COP?
or is it a 2.5, which doesn't deserve a "sir" in my opinion.

I know the kid doesn't have respect, but why should the law be involve in his parenting. The guy needed to keep his cool(which he's a failure at, apparently) and send him home. Getting his name and parents contact info would be fine, to let THEM deal a punishment.

I am curious if this was a first-time offense.
