So last night my Celica developed a nice rattle from the airbag cover. Upon inspection today I found that the front of the airbag cover isn't snapped into the dash. It looks like two white tabs that are supposed to hold it together, and I'm assuming they break when the cover is removed/airbag is deployed because I can't find anything that snaps into place.
Anybody know what I'm talking about? It's increasingly annoying, and I'm just about ready to pull out the velcro and stick it all back together. -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money

I dunno what you are talking about with tabs, however mine was rattling a while ago, I stuffed some neatly trimmed black rubber pieces (from like old rubber mats or whatever) in the corners of the cover. its not visible and it doesn't rattle, and in the event that the airbag must deploy the rubber wont stop that.

QUOTE (14:19:21) Daniel: That was a JDM hole in the side of the box too. There was so much JDM trapped inside that box that they couldn't contain it, so they had to put a JDM hole in the box to let the JDM out. when ur airbags deploy or are changed/removed u usually have to replace the clips. after my sis wrecked my car i had to replace the passengers airbag and there are clips that hold the cover down. u should be able to buy them from dealership fairly cheap
