However Coomer OWNS 6GC, and OWNS the 6GC logo. Reproduction without consent would be illegal. The 6GC decals I linked above are made with consent from Coomer.
And it'll cost you more than $10 to have them reproduced on your own anyways. -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money

If he comes and says anything just tell him that it would be a replica sticker, just like the replica TRD & Toyota bodykit items he had on his car which I see you bought and then sold.

A replica body kit and this are two completely different things - the body kit doesn't say "TRD", so you can't get in trouble. This is a decal that clearly says "6GC.net". The design and name are owned by Coomer, and unless consent is given to reproduce anything with the name on it, it is against the law.

I've never heard of anyone sueing their fans for promoting their stuff. With that being said I don't live in the US so that's not my culture.

And while the bodykit items may not say Toyota or TRD, They are distinct designs and recognised as such.
Other Celica parts available used throughout this site via Ebay containing words such as TOYOTA and CELICA and GT-Four and respective emblems such as the dragon, the TRD emblem and such containing the toyota celica font, etc have all knocked off Toyota. Printing from the internet is legal, as is sticking things on your car (as long as it doesn't obstruct vision and complies with your local motor vehicle agency laws.) The fact that I saved the image and uploaded it to photobucket incase the original disappeared (Which was posted for this purpose in the 1st place) may be a bit iffy, but this is the internet and its common place. Get off your high horse and let people DIY and save their money, btw your thread is over 2 years old now and don't you belong on some Subaru forum now? ... -------------------- Mike W

Just because someone is selling something on eBay doesn't mean it's legal.
"Copies" of TRD items, such as the 404 side skirts have little differences, so the original TRD design hasn't really been reproduced. With things that say Toyota or Celica on them - FHI would never be able to track down everybody making stickers, shirts, hats, etc. My thread is over two years old? I've been here since 2005 - you'll need to be a bit more specific, as I'm sure I have dozens of threads over two years old. And yes, I do belong to a Subaru forum - http://www.nasioc.com And I own a 96 Celica as well. -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money

just to throw my 2 sence in. delusionz is right it is legal to reperduce it, there is nothing in the law against that. the only thing that is illeagal is the destributing of the item.
