Hi all!

I have a question about deletion of interior in celica 96 GT
I can remove all of interior in my car -> all elements behind back seats:
plastics, antenna, couch, back loudspeakers = everything.

What weighs st202?

What It can weigh when i del interior?
Drop of weight will give me some (certain) results?

in future i can do full laminat elements and plastic window.

thanks for your interesing this post!;)

check this site: http://www.gtfours.co.uk/ and go to Modifications --> 205 --> Weight Savings.
it's meant for the gt-four but there are some things listed that also apply for the st202.

yea azn_advanced pretty much got you the link for what the weights are.

I removed back seats/plastics/door cards/speakers/aircon/spare/jack, relocated the battery. to save weight way back in the day.

Since then you get more serious and remove all the sound material adhered to the floor, the full air conditioning/heating units, airbags, seat belts, windows + motors/regulators, side rear windows, spare tire well, remove the sunroof.

results of weight reduction: better acceleration, better handling. The less you weight and the lower in the car your weight is the faster you can go around a corner smile.gif

back seats only weigh like 5kgs the bottom doesn't weigh much.
seat belts/speakers/spare tire/jack should put you over 60kg

ok so lets say you take out everything from the interior like ronan did in his ss-III celica. Will less weight from the interior allow the car to slightly understeer.
