Not sure what size I should get, I don't want it to make the transmission cold anyone have experience with this? It's for an automatic transmission for the 5sfe.

yes but you can increase its cooling capacity by adding on another one, just bring the lines from the radiator to the cooler back to the tranny

What mods do you have done to the car? There's no reason at all to cool the tranny if you aren't putting down serious power, or towing heavy loads. I'm guessing you're not doing the latter lol

I used one from a V6 camry/lexus ES300. Mounted it right up front. (I have a koyo radiator w/ no provisions for a trans cooler)

It's been working beautifully on my auto 5sfte for a year now.

no extra trans cooler needed and if anything, you should be converting it to manual for turbo to make it worth it.

this is true... ask LewFX... he ran an auto for awhile... as soon as he put down any real power he blew it to pieces... i'm not saying thats going to happen to everyone... but that transmission is just not built to hold that power... and adding another cooler is like putting a band-aid on a severed limb... you're helping it but nothing thats really going to make any difference
