My friend has a 5th gen GT and the mirrors on it look better than the 6th gen ST ones do. I was wondering if anyone knows if I can just swap the mirrors or if I need to modify them slightly or if it just too hard and stupid to do the swap.
Thanks. |

I dont think its a direct swap but im not 100% sure. This was brought up awhile ago and it was basically concluded that they come out alot more and it would be a lil funny looking.

I'm prettty sure you just have to re-drill one of the holes to mount it.

They fit. The 5th gen mirrors that is. In my opinion they look really good on the car. You just need to redrill one of the holes to make them fit. Not hard at all.

If you want the 5g mirrors to fit properly, that is, around the original rubber, then you'll have to enlarge all three holes and figure out the wiring.
Been there and done it - I have them on my 6g. |

If you drill an extra holl, they will fit!
The wiring is not so dificult, there are only 3 wires on the mirrors Look at my profile to see what they look like on a 6gc |

I think the solid ones look better. I'd get c/f ones if they had them.
