i need some help finding wheel spacers for my car. i just got some 17' rims and i want to get spacers so make the rim look flush with the rest of the body.

i found these and want to know if they are any good and what ones i should get for my car.

people keep telling me that H&R spacers are good, but i just dont want to spent that kind of money on something as simple as a spacer.

I heard that wheel spacers can be very dangerous. I wouldnt mess with them at all.... If you want your wheels to be flush with the body get wider wheels

yes and no. if you buy 48 offset wheels, 5 mm will make all the difference in the world. the rims won't fit otherwise. however lookswise its going to be pretty minimal. the guy who's email I listed also has 15 and 20 mm spacers (for more $ odviously).

I wouldn't go with too much of an offset. You will probably end up repacing your axles after a short while. I've got a little explanation for why.here goes....
-your wheels bolted on as normal(without spacers)=carrying a 20 pound box close to your chest
-your wheels bolted on with spacers=carrying a 20 pound box several inches away from your chest

ok heres what I mean, carrying the box close to your chest will create less stress on your back than carrying the box a little bit away from your chest.Bolting the wheel on with spacers will create more strain on your axles, ball joints and so on

What are the rules in the US as to how far out your wheels can be set? Over here the wheels can't go outside the line of the body (unless you roll or flair the wheel arch).

I know in some states you can have ****in monster trucks on the roads, so I'm guessing your laws are pretty open when it comes to this?

I personally like the look of the celica having the wheels set in a little... cars with the wheels flush look like hondas to me...

Sorry dude, unless you want to put total crap on your car, you're going to have to spend the money. I've got the 25mm H&R Trak+ spacers and I love them. With a 7" wide 38mm offset wheel they are the perfect spacers. I got them new for $300.
