Hey, haven't posted anything for awhile since I don't have a celica any more. Anyways, I was looking through some pictures from the Tokyo Auto Salon on the net and came across this crazy looking ST205. Enjoy folks.

That windshield is SOOOOOO clean I can hardly see it! Weird color choice for rims/paint.

i did some digging around and found more pics on this car. according to the blog site where i found these pics from, the project began in April '09 and involved a team of 7-8 men.

it so different yet so weird...........
cant decide if i like it or not...
the rear looks weird i dont like it....
but the front loks,,, uhm,,, i dont know
and yeah that windshield is awesome but i wonder if it is street legal.
i guess not,, to give that transparency it has to be either freaken expensive or really thin glass.

i dont like they way it looks with the widebody screwed down and gapy like, like in the salon pic it looks like its held on with screws and glue and looks god awful i think. if they molded those wide body parts and ditched the rear spoiler deal it might look alot alot better

So the new parts on the sides are sitting ontop of the old panels? Weird. Talk about a pain in the ars if he ever had a small car accident in that thing. Look like it would come apart with wind alone. Still, an interesting project, and a new design to mark in the books. But I do agree, it looked better before the mods.

The sides look like they wanted to make it look like a ferrari testarossa, thats like people putting supra taillights on their celica laugh.gif . Why not buy the car you are trying to copy if you have enough money to make those mods. I agree the car looked a lot better before. But thats just my opinion. biggrin.gif

It's interesting, The front bumper has elements of GT4, ST202 Facelift and Nissan-aftermarket style lip.

I like the widebody styling,

I hate the colours,

The lines could flow a bit better.

Looks very supercar like in the middle, I like that.

Overall though, I wouldnt do this to mine even if I could.

Supra is an expensive car, it is much cheaper to buy a supra rear and do the conversion, honestly i like celica look more but the supra rear with it makes it look like a new car

love this car! but lose those mirrors and the rear spoiler, and paint it white and would be perfect IMO
