Okay... might be able to work out a group buy for Fluidyne to produce a radiator for the celicas... To do this I have to send in my stock radiator and then they will produce a version to there specs - this will take 12 weeks to do which is fine for me cuz it's still gonna be a while before my car is done.

I dont know what cost would be at this time or how many people we would need to have in this.. I am just guagin intrest at this time to see if something like this would be a good idea.

For those that arnt familiar with there product go HERE

This is something that I have been lookin into for a few months and have talked to alot of people that have purchased there products - I haven't talked to a single person that was unhappy with there radiator - everyone I have talked to said it was well worth the money.

This is what they have to say about there stuff

as for price I am not sure yet.. I am currently waiting for fluidyne to get back to me on both what it would cost for just one and what kind of group buy deal they can work out.

I will say that these are not horribly expensive but not cheap at the same time... but if your going for big power... well you really might wanna look at this.. expessially if you have a 3sgte swap as the 3s generates alot of heat which it transfers into the coolant and oil lines of the motor...

I would say that they will probalby be between 300-400 but until they get back to me I cant be certain about that.

newayz enuf BS post if your interested... thanks

well this is thier reply

QUOTE
We would not be looking at making this one of our normal cataloged items, we just don't get that much demand for them. The costs involved in tooling up for a production part run into the several thousands of dollars, so we need to make sure that any new item will be in demand enough for us to sell 75-100 per year, and we don't see this kind of demand for this application. Building a one-off custom unit is done by hand, as opposed to a fixtured part, such as all of our normal cataloged items, so it takes more time. We do not do group buys, we sell our products through our Distributor network.

so it dont look like this is gonna go threw... oh well

yea it really sucks.. and they want like 600 for a one off production... oh well gotta get what I want but dame thats alot for one radiator...

edit: I just emailed them back makin them feel stupid for not lookin into this a little more - but did it in a nice ass kissin kinda way wink.gif

I am trying to get them to tell me what other radiators they already offer will be close to the diamensions of the celica radiator... probably wouldnt be too hard to mount a different radiator there.. so if anyone knows the dimension off hand post them here otherwise I will dig mine outta the box I got it in and meausre it but if I can find one that will work I will post what it is.

Yeah, try some different brands. There really isn't that much to fabbing one if you know someone that can weld aluminum. Definitely not worth $600.

Absolute Radiator has the Koyo for the GT(all aluminum construction), and CSF radiators in 1 and 2 row for the ST(also aluminum).
