how much are cheap lowering springs for the 6gen celi ??

I've seen coilovers as cheap as $50. But you may not want to get something cheap. If you buy cheap springs it will affect the quality of the ride. If you spend some money to get Tein, Eibach etc. you will be much happier with the ride. I think you can get the tein springs for a little more than $150.

U can get Tanabe for around 150 as well.

The Eibach Pro-Kit, lowers our celicas about an inch, will run about $200-$220. I've heard nothing but good things about those springs.

i did have eibachs on but they lowered the front more then the back spax seem to lower the most they say 40mm but it seems more .i have gmax on mine now they are fine the sit lower the eibachs but not as low as spax £230 for the springs and fitting hope that helps
