Hi all, I got an issue that has just started to happen. i lowered the car on trd coilovers that i bought off here a couple of weeks ago and the car has been fine. i thrashed it back to uni the other day and it felt fine but then a couple of days later i went to go to the shops in it and it was fine to start out with but then randomly the steering started pulling and twitching to the right for a couple of seconds and then went back to normal. it felt like everytime the wheels turned the steering wheel pulled to the right. I have no idea what was causing it so i was wondering if anyone on here had ever heard of it before? Cheers, Dave

Sounds like either you have bad lower control arm bushings and or tie rod ends. Either way its going to be in your hub assembly.

hmm i could check it out. there is no play in the wheels tho when we jacked it up That only tells you of the bearing or tie rod ends are completely shot. The only way to check for bushings is to take the strut off and see how much up and down movement it has. |
