JDM Projector Size, Anyone ever measured it? Options

Has anyone measured the actual inner projector from the JDM headlights? Im looking for the size of just the projector and diameter of the outer lens. Just the inner part like in this image.



I'm looking into changing out the whole projector and retrofitting an HID projector like a S2000 or TSX projector. Looking for higher output and a wider more colorful cutoff line, and also fix the RHD cutoff issue. Any help appreciated.

I would like to know how this works for you I want projectors too but not the kuoki ones because those are too expensive for me

btw, its not a typical halogen projector. I am 100% happy with my cutoff just with the modded custom shield. Its wider than any halogen projector i have seen. I think its really really similar to a non AFS-RX350 projector. I already sealed mine up so i am no help to you. I have plenty of color on my setup and the width spans a 4 lane highway when i drive.

Yea i notice that the shroud itself is reflective like a mirror so im sure it helps bounce some light further out, similar to the LS430 shroud helps spread the light superwide. Do you happen to know what diameter the lense is? The lense looks clear as well so cutoff should be sharp. Im excited to taking these apart, but definetly want to try an HID projector in there. Will be updating with some good info hopefully.

Here are some of the basic measurements that I just got with the limited measuring tools I have on me right now. I'll need to get a dial caliper sometime for more accurate measurements at a later time. I hope this helps a little for now.

From the mesurements it looks like the TSX projectors should work and are very similar in size. Also S2000 Koitos and SC430s Should work. RX330s are slightly larger. I think im going try TSX because their cheap, good color, decent output. 55W Kit, and the reflective shroud should bounce the light plenty for a wide light beam.
