Coming home last evening, I lost power to radio, turn signals, power windows, horn, all dash functions including tach and speedometer. I was wondering if someone can direct me to a solution. I eyeballed fuses, and from what I could see all looked OK. I did not however have much time as it was getting late. Any help is always appreciated, Ron in Central Calif, (Fresno).

yeah thats the "main fuse" right? check them all!
But first, does the car start now? like is it an "intermittent" problem, or is everything lost? Obv. check the battery, if you didnt already. As dumb as it sounds, if the batt dies this can happen, happened to my cousins car, and we checked the fuses and stuff, and ended up the battery was dead (we felt dumb lol) But this happened in my car, and it was intermittent and it ended up being a loose power wire on my battery that i couldnt see, it was just a little loose, and I would loose all power while driving then it would come back and the gauges would freak out, over and over, then fine, then again. So check all the connections, and main grounds, possibly clean the grounds cause if they are bad enough you wont get power. -------------------- |

Thanks for help w/ electrical problem...The 100 amp fuse was burned, I tried to get it out and broke it all up. Is there someway to remove these? Probably something obvious, but I don't see how. Also if fuse is burned out I may have some short or something going on.. The car starts and runs, just no dashboard functions, including turn signals, tach, speedo, radio, etc.. Thanks to all. Is there some special tool to pull these fuses? Ron.
