Midwest Meet v3.0, Starved Rock Area, Illinois Options

So since I couldnt make it to the last meet, I was looking to set one up in either late September or early October. For myself to make it, I'm planning on a Sunday meet in the Starved Rock area. Most likely the same place everyone has met at before. I know I'm available either Sept. 19th or October 3rd. Does this work for anyone else?

I am having knee surgery this friday... I don't think I'll be back up and ready to get around by then...

Give me until I've got my Celica swapped, or at least have the motor paid for. Then I'll be in for the next Midwest Meet. But until I have the engine, I am not spending any money that I don't need to.

starting this tuesday, 71 down to the river will be under construction!! they're finally fixing it, I have no idea how long for though. possibly until winter or into the spring, dunno. the bridge took almost a whole year.

lol. Maybe now we'll be able to fly up and down those twisties w/o understeering to our deaths haha. I STILL remember every detail of the corner where my celi was bouncing closer and closer to the outside. You just cant get any grip when the surface knocks the wheels all over the place!

yep, I remember it before it went to crap when I drove the geo on it some. hell, i was faster with the geo just by virtue of the fact the road wasn't falling apart and mostly gravel covered potholes.

I'm going to do some research and try to get an estimated date of completion and some more information on the project.

The IL 71 Resurfacing Project from Ottawa to Utica started on September 7th and should be completed by Mid October. The project involves milling and resurfacing the pavement. Traffic will controlled by flaggers.

Hi, maybe you can direct me to whom to ask or maybe you're the correct person to ask. I'm seeking some information on construction which just began on Route 71, but out by Utica/Ottowa IL in Lasalle county near Starved Rock State Park. I realize you're in Kendall with this project, but I'm not able to find the 71 construction out where I'm interested in on the IDOT website. I know this may not be a major project, but It's one that myself and many others are very interested in, this is a much loved stretch of road for many car enthusiasts and motorcyclists. I'm curious as to what is being done (road repair?) and for how long. Thanks for your time, I hope you can help me.
