I am interested in buying a 98-99 Celica GT that is in good condition and still runs like a champ. Must be manual. Must have reasonable mileage. No junkers. I live in KY so here in KY would be best or around the borderline area of the surrounding states. Thank you for your time. :-)

I've been thinking about selling my 99 GT, $4,000 would be what I need to get out of it for the other car I'm looking for. Black hatch, 5-speed, 167k, leather, pw/pl, OEM CD and cassette and I added an AUX input, aftermarket alarm/remote, 17" Motegi wheels, up to date on maintenance. I'm the 2nd owner and have all service records from the original owner. Runs really well, gets about 30 mpg on the highway.

The only bad things I can think of are the usual few door dings of a car this age, couple rust spots on the hatch around the window, and someone stole the front emblem but I have a new one to put on it.

Too bad I'm in Kansas lol

Is it possible to replace the 94-97 tail lights with the 98-99 tail lights? Cause the 94-97 tail lights are just flat out ugly. Thats why I am looking at 98-99 celicas.

I'm in the process of giving it a good detail tonight and tomorrow so I'll toss some pics up when I'm done.

And yes, the tail lights are the same across all the years. The 98-99's had the 3-spoke steering wheel and only came as GT's, and pretty much all that I've seen are fully loaded for options.
