Well, here is the deal 94 Celica GT, auto (I know)
So I go out this morning and decide its time to make a trip somewhere, thing is my Celica wont start!
At first it sounded like the soleniod from the starter was "clicking", then nothing, I lost all juice.
So now, when I went to restart it, I put the key in ignition, turn to ACC first, had power to console, clock turned on, climate control lit up fine. Turned key to start postition, a faint click and now everything is dead. I no longer have power to anything. So Im at a total loss here.....
Things I have checked so far....fusees all good, battery voltage 12.2, starter relay contacts 5 and 3 show continunity (and I dont have a schematic so I dont know if they are supposed to be NO or NC). Im getting ready to check all my grounds and battery connections, and then try to jump it (I doubt that'll do anything...unless Ive got no amps).
What Im really thrown off about is if it was the starter that would be one thing, but how is it I've lost all power?

Jeez, figured it out, for the most part. Really cleaned up my grounds, and then looked at the underside of my battery terminal and saw that the underside was really corroded, and the inside was as well, cleaned that up and now I have power. As far as starting, its kind of weird. I have to hold the shifter back a bit, so Im thinking Neutral Switch (PNP Switch), gotta take some readings off of that....so it means I have to remove the cuise controle module......anyone need one?

EXACT same thing happened to me. EXACT. Except for the neutral thing.

Yeah, well Im glad I got it cleared up. But now I really need to eliminate either the starter or PNP Switch. And I guess it'll be a good enough time to pull all the cruise control components and get rid of them.
