I personally find the first one to be hideous... and the second one looks like a knock-off of the real TRD knob.

I made my own knob, so I can't really recommend one knob over another, but there is a TRD one that I like...

I agree. The first one is fugly. If you are deciding between those two, definitely the second one.
Myself, I've had RAZO carbon fiber/aluminum knob in my Celica for a while now. Together with short shifter it feels really good.
This one:

I've always liked the OEM leather with red stitching shiftknob. Problem is its so expensive. I found a cheaper alternative on ebay though for about $20USD, Looks pretty good with a matching shift boot.

Only things i dont like is how it has Momo embroided on it, when for that price it definately aint real momo, and its fairly lightweight.

found an ebay link here

£25 ($40.35) from the UK TRD dealer just to insure it is genuine, there are a few floating around on ebay but there are so many fakes on there thats why paid extra from the dealer

Pics of the knob you made yourself?

I've been wanting something different for my knob. I miss the MOMO one my WRX had.

Had a weighted metal knob that had the set screws, was always hot as $hit, and came loose on me so i threw that in the garbage and got the leather trd knob, the longer one, and i love it, just wish it was a little heavier

I had the black isotta puma shifter knob in mine. Got bored of it and realized I like the stock one better. Still have it laying around somewhere if anyone wants to make an offer.

I like that one. IMO, it would've looked better in black.

I never had any problems with the knob being too hot to touch or my hand getting burned from it you guys must drive convertibles and leave the top down with the sun shining on it all day or something lol
