Hello everyone! have some questions for you guys. swapped out my 5-sfe for the famous 3-sgte 3rd gen..... everything went fairly smooth, mated the 5-sfe tranny with the 3-sgte engine, with a hybrid clutch set-up ect.......so far so good.......when came to start-up...I have no key start-up.....NOTHING, not a burp from the starter or battery. completely dead as well, cant hear fuel pump turn on when turn key to accessary, and clutch button has no power, maybe its a ground?? gauges and everything light up perfect.........3weeks ago I sent my whole harness to dr. Tweak to sort it all out, cause I did all the extending of the harness myself, and maybe I screwed up. Plus finding out certain things need to be changed to work properly with this conversion. I sent it away, hearing Dr. Tweak is the wizard when it comes to harness conversions. However, if this is not the problem, do you think it could be my Circuit Opening Relay, considering fuel pump and starter and clutch button dont light up, From what I've seen on schematics these all seem to tie into this relay.....
PLEASE HELP ME. MY CAR WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ON THE ROAD LAST APRIL, STILL STUCK ON THE SAME ISSUE!!!!! |

I did the swap years ago and did my own wiring... ran into the same problem and i recall having to do some more rewiring with the fuel pump relay and i think the COR .... .... the fuel pump relay on the st205 has a two stage thing with a resistor in the ecu that will burn out if you wire up the st204 FP relay like it is on the st204... i did this and found that after wiring the 204 FP relay similar to the 205 FP relay the burnt out resister didnt affect n e thing. recheck the way power is ran to the FP relay and the COR relay and im sure ull find ur problem. Thank-you very much for the info. I by-passed the ignition and started the car from the starter relay to the battery just to hear the engine run, it worked, but had to keep on the throtle for an idle.... hope I didnt screw-up anything, dont think I did I will try and see how the fuel pump set-up is on the st205 and see if I can adapt it. not to good with schematics though.... Dr.Tweak is also sending back with my completed harness a walbro 255pump heard stock st204 pump wont cut it.
