I live in TN and there is no salt or snow (rarely). I am contemplating whether I should get:

1.) Normal Brembo Replacement Rotors off TireRack.com
2.) irotors.com's zinc plated slotted and drilled rotors
3.) (I think they are brembo) drilled rotors off ebay without zinc plating

Thanks! If some of you guys have had experience with these or have advice then thanks. I have searched the forums and I did not find out as much as I wanted.

I'm interested to see how much heat the zinc can take. Every type of coating I've ever tried to use, I've managed to burn off. The pads I'm running don't like to be cold wink.gif.

i have the irotors too. Ive had them for about three months and they are great, but the zinc plating has woren off. I parked my car outside in the rain once, and the area where the pads contact the rotors had begun to show spots of rust. Of course the rust came right off after five minutes of driving. The good part though is that the places where the pads dont touch (ie the parking brake drums) are shiny and perfect just like the day they came out of the box. So i would recommend the zinc plating to anyone. I remember my stock rotors were rusted all over all the time. Sure some of it will wear off, but what do you expect?
