Topic title says it all. Nice good ol' condensation decided to come back again this year in my drivers side low beam, and now I'm fishing for ideas on how to remove/prevent it from happening.
From the reading I've done, its all going to come down to the headlamp seal or the seal where the lamp meets the housing? I'm thinking about possibly re-seating it after using a blow dryer to get rid of all the built up condensation and see if that helps. Any suggestions on "curing" this problem without having to rip off my front bumper? I lack the tools and lately the time to even do much with my baby but I'm getting very annoyed over this. Appreciate the help as always! Edit: And I just found multiple other threads on this issue. Well, if there's any other suggestions I'm still open to em lol This post has been edited by Hazmat: Feb 14, 2011 - 6:44 PM |

i'd say your best bet is to take the bumper off and reseal the glass to the housings to stop it for a long time. i know you don't want to do that, but it's the best way

I've heard the same about the silica packets, could be worth a shot. I'm leaning towards hair dryer and trying to re-seat the lamp into the housing. If that fails, I'll have to acquire the tools to rip off the bumper and mess with it when I have time.
