Car is not running! Pictures posted at bottom.

I bought this car to finish the swap then sell it and or part it out. Before its delivery, I had no visual of the car's current state, just a description from the craigslist ad and from speaking to John on the phone. Regardless, it was an incredible deal and I had to jump on it. Being a longtime member on the forums, I always was a fan of John's builds (from the 5sfte, his first 2nd gen 3sgte, to the Holset build..etc). Needless to say, I was not disappointed. Unfortunately, from the time I bought it, it was covered and never touched. On my list of priorities, it is towards the bottom. Now that spring/summer is almost here, it is just taking up space in my driveway and it needs to go (I could use the money, and the parents need their parking spot back).

It has a 2nd gen 3sgte already swapped. It needs a coil wire, a battery and some tinkering as mentioned in the original for sale thread. The harness was converted by Dr. Tweak to accept the engine, but I personally think a newly converted harness is a must unless you want to deal with headaches. I am not pointing fingers, but the wiring in its current state looks terrible. Currently the factory 2nd gen top mount intercooler is on the engine. There is no front mount intercooler, but the trunk has misc. piping.

The interior could use a serious wash down. It is mint, but dirty. I'll take care of this before its purchase.

Exterior is mint as can be expected. No major damage dents or dings. Paint still shines and body kit has held up well throughout the years. Front bumper is currently not attached to make towing easier. Hood has some pressure cracks due to the hood being closed with the factory top mount installed (happened when it was towed to prevent the hood from flying up).

This is a project car, and not for someone who hasn't done their research. Someone looking for a clean shell and a stock 3sgte to build up, then this car could be for you. I will answer any and all questions to the best of my ability, but some of the modifications and past history are unclear to me.

$3,500 O.B.O As is.

If the car isn't sold, it will be parted out. A separate thread will be made so please don't clutter this one with requests for parts. Thank you everyone.

What he paid for it isn't relevant. We have been over this before on this website. He can sell it for whatever amount he wants.

That is correct, other than bleeding the clutch I have not touched it. Just because I was fortunate enough to get a great deal due to someone's unplanned financial hardship does not mean that it is not worth my asking price. I am in no way hiding the fact that I am selling it for more than I bought it for.
