Hey does anyone know if the remote car starter works with the manual transmition. The only thoughts i had about it is that you would have to disconect the sensor that notices the clutch is pressed in since that is normally required for starting, and that you have to have it in neutral? If anyone has done this can you tell me what you did. and if anyone knows how to disconect that sensor can you tell me also? thanks.

just unplug the harness for the clutch,, its located above the clutch pedal. get a paper clip or something to connect the 2 terminals so its always a connection. its senses that clutch is pushed in. you also gotta leave it in neutral when you use the remote start or your car will start going forward.(i did it once on purpose, wasnt that fun, dumb decision lol)

some remote starts are made for mt's, you have to arm it befor you shut off the car and have the parking brake up with your foot off the brake pedal, then you take the key out of the ignition and the car will continue to run until you open and close the door. kinda a pain in the butt, oh and if you open the door again teh auto start won't work nless you reset it, the whole thing is to make sure the car isn't in gear. Anyway i've got a galaxy 5000rsm or something it works when the temp gets cold and that's what i bought it for.
