Need some Insight Options

So the Driver side rear quarter panel window on my convertible has completely gone to the ****s now. Ive needed a new regulator for a while but it still stayed up. Unfortanetly now, all the little rollers have broken off so I've had to keep it in place messing with it. I went to the dealer to buy just the regulator and theyre trying to tell me I have to buy the complete set regulator + motor in the range of around $500. Now that doesnt sound too right... I thought it was sold separate. Am I being jipped into getting them together or has it changed? Input please ;\

When I had to do my window motor and such it came with the whole rail assembly w/motor attached.

I just purchased it off someone here off a parts car for 75 bucks. Works like a charm, pretty straight forward to install...I wouldn't pay 500 for a new one...find a used one =P
