hey whats up every one, just recently i pulled out my motor, rebuilt it completely and installed a new clutch.
yesterday i finished dropping the engine back in the car, im almost done hooking everything up. i reconnected the clutch line back to the slave cylinder, but im not getting any pressure on the clutch pedal. i tried pumping the pedal multiple times, and then had someone open the bleeder valve but no fluid is coming out at all, the reservoir tank is full, and it worked fine before i pulled the engine out. i tried bleeding for about an hr with no luck. is there another way of bleeding the system? |

Mightyvac FTW
its a hand held vac pump make to bleed brakes what not. you can get one @ autozone for 30$ or so, it makes it a one man job. pull the bleeder screw out, put some thread tape on the threads before you use the mightyvac, so you don't pull air in thru, the threads. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

Had this issue with a mates ae82, it turned out to be the master cylinder.
In the time it was disconnected the seal must have hardened because it wasnt pushing fluid or much pressure. -------------------- ST205 Group A Rallye GT-Four, #61 of 77............600hp GT3582r

I got it to work after all, its easier to do it when the slave cylinder pin is pushed in
