So I like to go out n have fun on the beach from time to time.. and I take the celi. Heres the issue... loose sand = getting stuck EASY. I want to be able to keep up with my buddies trucks, though, at least untill they have to get into 4wd...

I know about lowering the tire pressure (a secret im gonna keep from them lol) to get 2-3x more traction.

I have been looking at rally tires and have come across a few choices to help even more... but mostly just gravel and mud tires. So which do yall think would be better in sand?

Gravel tires:

Please tell me you're not talking about your v6 celica lol. I wouldn't think there would be much more difference, letting the tyres down is definitely the key.

Deffo lower pressure as you say. I would opt for an all-terrain rather than mud terrain as you dont want to be digging down into the sand.

you should make this a poll. anyway my vote goes to mud tires because they have more horizontal tread blocks (according to the pic) which will pull the car better in loose terrain. and get the biggest and widest tires you can fit.
