Front speakers are 8". I wrote up an install on this site a while back about how to fit 8" subs.
Any stereo shop(or Best Buy/Circuit City) should be able to make you adapters for about $10. |

Our front doors (main speakers) are 6.5", and have a depth of 2.5". Many people use adapters (and some.. well.. re-create their doors) to give more space to accomodate the 4.5" depth of higher-end speakers. There's a kickass set of Alpine's that I want that are 4.5" deep, but the adapter ring is just too much of a hassle for me. So instead, I'm going for the Focal 165A's, which are like 2.55", and when you take off the back plastic part, they fit perfectly.
Depends on the quality of the speaker you're getting really. Rear speakers are also 6.5", but like.. 4.5" depth. -Brian |
