Hi friends. 2 weeks ago I had an oil change because my st205 engine oil was smelling like petrol!!! After some days i noticed that the engine oil still had that gas smell. Did that ever happen to your engine? At first i thought it was a faulty regulator, i took out my Sard and reverted back to the stock Fuel regulator but the petrol smell is still there. Is that normal for st205?

Not normal, you're washing fuel down the cylinder walls and into the oil either from over fueling due to a computer/tune issue or there is a mechanical issue going on with the engine itself. Get this sorted out or you'll be rebuilding that engine.

had a new oil change. Mechanics are telling me that its not petrol smell. According to them its just the smell of burnt oil.... well either my smell sense is gone or my mechanics need a nose rebuilt! Either way, i'll keep a nose in it:) Hopefully not much fuel is being washed down in cylinder.
