speaker type, need info Options

Whats up people, I need info on my 94 celica .....my car is a hatchback GT......
there are 3 speakers in each door and I have know clue what the bottom
speaker is I think it is an 8" sub or mid but not sure.....called dealers and they
couldn't tell me anything.......please let me know.....the originals are busted all to hell!!

3 in each door. I think that there is one is the bottom of the door. That's 6 1/2", but you are gonna have to get a piece of wood or something and cut out the diameter of the speaker then screw or bolt the speaker to the wood and then screw the wood to the door. and in the back they are 5 1/4" Those are kinda hard to get in unless you have a drill. and there is a 1 inch tweeter on top by the side mirrors. about the thing with the door speakers and the wood, you don't have to go that route, that's just what I did. My MB Quarts were a little to big.

Crutchfield is a great place for information. They'll tell you all about your car and the speakers or whatever you're looking for, but as he said they are a bit expensive. If you're looking for a lot of support and warranties and don't care about paying a little extra you should buy from them, if not use the information and go find the speakers you want elsewhere for cheaper.

I just measued the speaker,, it's a 6".

FYI - 6 1/2" speakers will fit at a squeeze.
(Oxygen Sphere 165's).
