i have a 3s-ge 3rd gen swapped into my car here in the states, and i need to buy a iacv, but i'm not sure which one to get because i have
no idea what year, or even car this could possibly have come out of. is there any way to find that out so i can order the part. (which i will have to order from over seas......) thank you! p.s. it's mated to a 5 speed, which i'm assuming came with the motor, but i don't in fact know that) This post has been edited by giraffe: Dec 7, 2011 - 7:10 PM |

no, you misunderstand. i need to know the make and model of the car that this motor came out of.... if there's a way to determine that.\
see, that link is for a 1994 st202, which is totally possible, but i don't know that for sure.... and i think i need to. This post has been edited by giraffe: Dec 8, 2011 - 9:28 AM |

ya man. All and any 94-99 Celica that come with 3rd gen 3sge are called ST202-BLM##### depending if it has automatic or manual transmission. The model of the car is Called SS-II. Model of the car changes once a new motor/different motor is swapped into it.

You're making it too complicated for yourself. It doesn't matter what car the motor came out of. The throttle body is the same, therefore the ISCV is the same. So just follow the link posted earlier to get a part number and you're all set.

Wow, I just read my post again. I sounded like a douche earlier... I really didn't mean to come off like that. I merely meant to say that which car the motor came from matters less than the motor itself. That's a pretty steep price for an ISCV... Have you checked out Celica Club UK? It seems like they usually have a few 6th gen partouts going on, maybe you could pick one up for cheap.
