I bought the header from Ebay, sold by a person by the name of celicaperformance.

Well the header came in friday night (fast shipping) and i installed it saturday morning. I ran into the following problems with this header but i was expecting this to happen.

The header was not made for a celica. I showed hata(6gc member) and it is actually the same header from the 1.8 corrola. The piping for the header was short so new piping was needed to connect the header with the catalytic converter (test pipe). Also the secondary O2 sensor on the new pipe was not there so i jeff from www.Autotechmotorsports.com make the welds for the O2 sensor bracket along with the new pipeing.

But over all i love the purr from the new setup, only bad thing is that after 2600 RPM it gets very loud. ill post pictures up soon.

Oh yeah ill be dynoing the car in about 2 or 3 weeks.

Heh, so wouldn't that mean less efficient if it's consuming 33% more fuel than it was before?

nope, i meant for a na 7afe but to explain, there is nothing raising the fuel requirements of the car by just adding IHE

they remove restriction from the system, and less restriction means more mpg and more power.

with my car, it does consume more gas, but it also make more power per amount of fuel consumed.

i eat 33% more gas but gained like 80% in power, as of now, after dyno tuning i should get better mpg(im running too rich right now)

that makes my car more efficient in making power, not fuel efficiency, although i still get 30mpg when cruising on the freeway
