So my motor for my stock antenna died and they said with a discount from the shop it still around $300 so I scrapped that idea. Have a couple questions before I buy this antenna:

1) what glue works best for this?
2) do you remove the old motor? and if you do, what do you connect the old wires to?
3) what do you do with the water drainage line?

I dont have the s2000 antenna but i did remove the old motor after it stopped working. I just simply pulled the whole thing out and left the harness disconnected and plugged the hole for the antenna. Then i just attached a wire to the antenna cable to get reception.

1) what glue works best for this? Use the 7th gen base
2) do you remove the old motor? and if you do, what do you connect the old wires to? Yes and just connect the antenna jack to the 7th gen base.
3) what do you do with the water drainage line? Nothing

Me too I just went to a local junkyard, found a 7gen, took the whole antenna assembly and configured it to fit in the 6gen. I kept some parts from the 6gen but I got rid of that stupid big antenna motor for extra space biggrin.gif.

O yeah and you won't need glue for that... That'll make it supa ghetto, unless that's the style you're going for
