guys I was looking to upgrade my head gasket. I saw one on ebay for about $100, its 1mm thick. I then came accross a company that makes custom ones for about the same $. Does anyone know how much my compression would lower if I buy a 2mm gasket and is copper a good choise?

Keep in mind that lowering the compression of your motor is probably going to make it run like crap on the stock ecu.

you dont want a copper head gasket unless you ring the head. they dont seal good enough, even with the copper gasket spray. just stick with OEM. they have been proven!

If I was in your position, I would get an OEM from 99 Camry 5s-fe.

Another option is an ATSracing headgasket.

Lastly, you can look into cometic headgaskets. See if they make one for us.
