Tried posting in two other topics on the same subject, but never got a response. I just want to make sure this diagram is right. It's one I found online, but replaced a toggle-switch and all that for the side marker 12V wire as the trigger. Mine's a 95 ST, so will be using the pre-facelift JDM fogs. Thanks for anyone that can verify this.

looks right but my side markers only provide 11.63v but the wiring is old so it may have some resistance due to that. you are going to have your sidemarkers as source voltage for a switch then your fogs be the load right, for a switch? cause that is what im doing to.

Yep, just going to have the side-markers as the "switch". Instead of wiring in a toggle switch and modifying interior and what not. Make life easier. Then have the fogs routed through the relay, fuse, and up to the battery. The "proper" way of going about it. That way don't have to worry about melting wires and overloading anything. Because car electrical is a pain as it is.

You'd use 87a for the switch. So you want your fogs to come on all the time? I'd recommend running a switch...

The other cars I've had in the past that had fogs, they were always on with the headlights. No need for separate switch, isn't worth it to me. Forgot to modify the diagram to a 4 pin relay... Sorry for that, will fix it.

looks and sounds right if you are going to run the relay without the turn indicator fog light switch

Alrighty, just wanted to double check. Everywhere I've checked on the web this is the way to go about it. Just wanted to make sure before just diving into it. Hopefully is fairly easy install with using oem fogs and what not. Of course, it's automotive electrical. So that means it'll be a pain anyway.

Seems their goal is to make it as hard on us as possible. So far haven't had to work on it, but just by looking it seems like the easiest modern car to work on I've had.

yeah this is one of the easier cars to work on that i have had a chance to work on. haha try to work on a 7th gen celi they are a pain i hate that car, when i open the hood im like dam why did they do this and scratching my head all day haha. but the electrical on this car is very straight forward as long as you have a digital multi meter and trace the wire up to the fuse box haha. goodluck man updates are appreciated.

That's a shame, I was thinking about getting a 7th gen as my next car when this one finally dies. If it doesn't die I'd be ok with that too. I have a test light and multi-meter. Having to sell some stuff first, but once money comes in I'll buy the fogs and do a little before and after thing. Maybe a small tutorial even.
