Ok question here for anyone that might have a logical idea as to what happened to me. Axle broke off on the driver side and then hit transmission side wall. when i pulled the axle out it looked as if it just banged against the side wall and pushed it in a bit. not much, not as if you could see inside the tranny from the split. Soooooooo, I placed JB-Weld high heat strength its harder than before lol and then poped the axel in.

So after all that car runs, however when it drives it seem to stumble a bit as if some of the cylinders dont fire. As it revs up, it slightly goes away. Now for those who have helped me in the past yes I do still have that major gas issue 5-10 mpg problem (which I think I found the prblem to that, The regulator seems to have been hit on the top and is dented so im changing it out) But the problem is it never stumbled that way b4. it does seem like the stumble is apart of my gas problem but its a big Coincidence that It got to be like that right after my axle broke the transmission wall.

Soooo my question is this, could I have done some type of damage to the tranny where I would feel the type of problem that im experiencing? I figured the gear area is not right up on the wall of the tranny. could i be losing transmission pressure if there is such a thing?

Thanks Guys aslways for your input

Oh yea for those wondering yea I know I forgot to loc-tite the axlebolts, and yes i put some on now wish I had done that B4 (lesson learned)

i dont put any loctite on the axle nuts, or are you talking about the bolts that hold a CV together. im struggling with the description of your problem. some pressure builds up in the trans as it gets hot, but that is why there is a release valve on the top

I broke my driver side axle axle in a similar manner, no issues from it, did you reuse the old axle ? if you did, that could be your problem, axles can cause that type of issue if something is out of wack. I would say replace the axle.

let me know when you'll need some help, I'm very very short on time, but if we plan it right I'll come up and give you a hand.
