I'm trying to remove the outter door handles and did so on my 5th gen but can't remember how the 2nd (upper) rod comes out of the handle. They both (upper and lower rods) have those hook-like plastic snap latches, the bottom one snaps off and the rod comes out, but the top one is flared so it won't come out after the plastic clip is un-clipped... help?
I feel kind of dumb like I'm missing something obvious but idk, it's just, odd. |

Sometimes the bar and plastic latch come out as one. -rivs |

Ok, just want to make sure that IS the way it comes out. I'll pry her on out then!
