ok, i kow there has been a lot of topics, I read through them all and still have a few questions. Ok, im thinking about getting a short shifter, of course im looking for the best price. I was also thinking, that short shifters cause your shifts to get screwed up?? I know my bro has one on his civic, and i know that he sometimes grinds in reverse, also i was reading that, commer did the short shifter screw up clutch or what-not? or was it bad before? any ideas and anwsers or anything will hep thanks alot.

i like mine alot. easier to get into reverse. the first timei raced with it i missed 2nd. but that was the only time. you just have to get used to it. cauz ur hand moves quicker then ur foot.

I have the TRD shortshifter and I've loved it ever since it was installed. The only thing that took some getting used to was not getting my finger on the gigantic e-brake handle when I put it in 1st gear.

I love mine as well, and it has caused no problems for me. My clutch going out isn't an issue with my TRD QuickShifter. wink.gif

TRD's Quickshifter is a short shifter...they just call it a quick shifter. I didn't notice too big of a change in the height of the shift knob lever when I installed my TRD Quickshifter, but it makes a huge difference in the way your shifts feel. Once I get my car back I can meet you somewhere in Lynnwood on my way home from Bellingham or something and you can feel it for yourself if you'd like. Hopefully that will be within a couple weeks.

By the way, I also read a post from u that was about how to change the color of the gauge cluster, but I have a question is when we finish changing the bulb for the cluster, how do we replace it to the original place, coz u just told us pop off the the plastic firstly, but how do I pop off it into there again??

Hehe, I'll actually just let you sit in the car and play with the shifter. My best friend and I are the only people who drive my car, and I won't even let my parents drive it. wink.gif

And about the gauge cluster and changing the light colors, the bulb holders twist and then come out, and then you can pull out the old bulb, put the new one in, and then they go into the holes and twist into place. It's all really easy to figure out once you're looking at it. wink.gif
