Hi guys I have a problem with my brakes sounding like there was no pad left but when I checked there was plenty of pad , they scrape when i start in the morning but get better as i go on, I have also had a judder or the ABS cutting in only sometimes when braking normally, the discs are not in the best condition , pitted ,rusty and grooved in places, I am going to try replacing the pads and bleed the system , if that wont work , i will replace the discs. The ABS light comes on at first and goes off as normal, i have tried looking at the speed sensors but they are fixed firm and i don't want to break them if i don't have to. Does any one else have any other ideas, I need to get it retested and get it back on the road. Thanks

The rotors will always accumulate crap when you park the car which will be cleaned off after the first couple stops, you shouldnt be able to notice it if the car hasnt sat for more than a few days however.
The judder sounds like a warped rotor, take your rotors off and have O'Reilly's turn them for $15 a piece when you replace the pads.

thats just rust/corrosion buildup when it sits, after you've driven for a bit, it should go away. Thats normal. if its just that, you're fine, if theres vibration during braking, and you can actually pinpoint the vibration, that can be a warped rotor, or a skipping whooshing sound, but before you buy anything just make sure.
