Just need to tell people who may possibly care!

When i first brought my Celi i wasnt entirely sure what direction it would take, however, after a crash in the rain and a run in with a Kangaroo im starting to see the car take shape.

I have just purchased a set of 17` Enkei RS evolution rims for my Celi (they are second hand and need some work, but im up for a challenge), and early next week my new shocks and lowered springs arrive!. So along with my JDM tails the car is starting to take some shape, my SSIII splitters should be arriving in mid December.

6GC has been an awsome source of inspiration and i felt the need to say thanks to all the people who post pics and how to guides

Excalibur~

im not sure if im posting in the right spot either...

I'm with you on this dude.
I originally came to 6GC to fix a problem with my car, than it just crammed my brain haha.

My car wouldn't be anywhere near what it is if it weren't for some specific people and cars.
In my favour, it was Rusty and Manphibian which convinced me.
Now theres a whole list of people i should thank tongue.gif

Also the same. Very thankful for the awesome members and plethora of info and collaboration.

I chose long ago to note who my influences were in my signature, its grown a bit since i first started it.. And will probably continue to grow.

Much inspiration acquired from this site, and of course I wouldn't be anywhere I am today with either celica's...much less this swap.

Indeed. I've also been inspired by some people here... Timmyface, presure2, Rusty, Ergheiz(even though he only lasted a couple weeks at most), LED-BOY, TRD11, and some others.

Without this site, I would have left my Celica bone stock (apart from some tasteless eBay mods) and probably sold it long ago. There's something about this forum that keeps me interested in the car. smile.gif Seeing the pictures and talking to other members on here is great inspiration and motivation. Going to meets, seeing other Celicas in person, hearing the individual stories, that only pushes us even farther to better our cars.

I feel exactly the same way. Without 6gc, I would have left my Celica bone stock as well. I only really bought it because it sort of fell in my lap. Now after finding the site, my weekend car has become more of my daily driver and my wallet has gotten much thinner... but am very happy with everything I've done. Haven't been on long enough to meet any of you guys, but like Richee said, the stories and pics keep me motivated to do more (and learn how to actually install all this stuff). There's always an answer to any of my Celica questions on here. Much appreciated, everyone.

If it wasn't for this site is probably own a v6 civic hatch right now not a v6 celica hatch lol
Gotta say 2 of the main people that inspired me are on this post
Richee3's beams swap was the very first thread I ever read here.
An timmyface's celica made me see how amazing our cars can look with basically simple styling mods.
My goal when I came here was to see what I could do with the 5s an see what it took to turbo ( because when I joined I thought the 5s was the same motor in the gt4 just minus turbo :S )
Then I read about the beams an was set I was gonna build my coupe just like dans hatch. Then I read Stephen_lee's v6 an desided that was the route for me an thanks to this site (an some Honda buddys saying I couldn't do it) I'm the proud owner of 2 celicas. One of them being probably known by most members on this board. Year ago I wouldnt have thought is still be hear an made such great friends that I'd be willing to spend hundreds of dollars crossing 3 states just to go see lol

What a weekend it has been, now the Celi sits on lowered King Springs and new sports shocks. It was an epic saturday spent in the shed, followed by a sweet BBQ, then today i picked up my 17 inch Enkei RS evolutions.

Felt the need to add this to the conversation as im am actually seeing my car take shape!...

Im hoping to start a progression thread!...

Cheers
