I have a problem with a while with opening my trunk. With a pull the release lever or when i turn the key, the trunk will open but just not completely. The only way to open the trunk is to simultanously pull the trunk itself and turn the key.

Is this a common problem? How can this be fixed?

I don't think that is the same problem i have. I can turn the key both ways without any problem at all and the trunk wil open, but not completely released. So thats why i think this is an other problem.

Trunk hinge supports need to be replaced. My car does the exact same thing and I believe replacing the support struts will resolve it.

For the firefox click on bookmarks in upper right and then show all bookmarks you will see import and export bookmarks(you must have bookmarks bar enable )
As for the trunk mine was wrecked when I bought it and the trunk latch(u shaped thing ) was bent to the left a little so it would grab and not open easily. use a monkey wrench and bend it so it is centered in the latch mechanism.
Good luck to both
