I just picked up a 96 gt. I'll be swapping in gr2's early next month and am thinking about doing the springs while I'm in there. This is my daily and school bus for two children so I'm not looking for some thing too extreme. Originally going to run it in gstock this year but if I can get a good deal on springs then why the hell not. Let me know what you have and what you expect for them. I'm in Wa.

I have tien s-techs/GR2's.
1.9" in the front and 1.5" in the rear IIRC. Looks pretty good on stock wheels, and reduces wheel gap significantly with after market wheels (im on 18"s). Ride quality isn't too harsh, very similar to stock. IIRC the rear spring rate is actually the same as stock. If you're just looking to lower it a bit for looks, and still have a quality ride thats not too harsh for your two children, with a little bit of added performance, this would probably be a good set up. I have GR2s and Tein S-Techs as well and they are great. I've had them for 2 yrs and no issues thus far and they are quite affordable. Otherwise you can consider TRD or Eibach brand springs.

I've got tien s-techs. They're too low for my new driveway. Ready to get rid of them. They look amazing! But they're waayy too low for the rocky mountain driveway we have now! Pm me if you're interested in them!

I have Megan Lowering Springs, which I believe sits lower than Tein's. The ride comfort isn't too far off stock, maybe a bit softer.
