as most people have read in my previous topics "smartest thing ive ever done" and "my car is now ghetto", i have no sunroof... well im trying to track one down at junk yards (so far 250 miles on my car to places that SAY they do), but no luck. does anybody know if the pop up type is a factory sunroof, or is it aftermarket and im just wasting my time? its the one with a latch and you just push up, it pops up, and doesnt slide back... ill take some pictures of the mounts later, to lazy at the moment.... any input would be helpful... thanks..

That would be aftermarket. The factory sunroof is motorized, and both 'flips' up and slides back(into the roof).
If you want a factory style sunroof, you would have to replace the headliner(and add the piece to allow room for it to slide into the roof) as well as just cutting the hole. Not to mention running wires for the motors and such. |

see, heres the only problem with that though... when it flew off, i lost the hinges and latch that are attached to the glass... i tried finding them, but it was night, and the next day it snowed... its starting to look like i'll have to replace the whole sunroof
