Seeing as it looks like I'll be keeping the Celica, I've decided it's time to replace the worn out seats I currently have. The high priority is the front, with rear needing replaced but not critical. High preference to leather, but nice cloth seats would be ok I suppose. 7GC or MR2 seats would also work. I know it's a long shot, but it really needs to be local. Shipping kind of kills the whole thing sadly. If you happen to have something just let me know here please.

have you thought about vincent's seat covers? not sure if you wanna re-upholster them yourself.

If you want 7th gen celi seats maybe try newcelica.com. I picked up all of the seats on leather for about $375.

It's a 6 hour drive but I have a full set of tan cloth '98 seats you can have.

Alright, I'm done scouring Craigslist like a hawk... Terrible. Now if it were Honda parts I was looking for...
I guess the 7GC and MR2 seats are the extent of what will also work with our cars? Universal seats are out of the question since I'm too cheap for Recaro etc... and not boy racer enough for eBay knock offs. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

But no, seriously, the driver side has a small year but they are free for the taking if you change your mind. I'm fairly certain I even have the facelift seatbelts to go with the seats.

I would just dye them black to match the rest of my interior.
6 hours there and 6 hours back is a lot though. As far as the belts go I'd just use my old latches.The driver seat isn't too terrible. The passenger seat is long gone though. It's so bad I keep a pillow in the car for whenever anyone has to ride along. As you can imagine handing someone a pillow as they go to sit into my car sends out the wrong message. I've got a set of 97 seats I need to get rid of before I move, I'm not too far from you. I'm sure we could work something out. Also have some other things that I have no need for.. 97' front bumper, 5sfe, side skirts, strut bar, etc.

Still over 4 hours away to Pensacola though. I think some of my family may be going up to Kentucky soon, and Evansville isn't too terribly far at that point.

swap mr2 seats like i did, they are comfortable. which foams do you need?
1 shipped seats without the rails for like 40 buck, they can be shipped via greyhound.... or richee can bring them to the meet, i can bring to Tn and i can ship from here... but if you need the rails, you are SOL -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... Both top and bottom are needed, especially on the bottom passenger. If I can use the other seat pans on my rails then I wouldn't need the rails. I know the cushions are different from 95 to 96, but I'm not sure if the mounting locations for the bottom pan are the same or not. Then again it's not like I couldn't cut holes in the other pans and weld in a nut to make it match the 94-95 locations.
