So I just got wheels and tires for my '99 Celica vert, running 17x8 +35 with 215/45/17 tires and I wanna clear the wheel gap but not be slammed, bottom out, and not have the wheel touch the wheel well.
I'm not looking for a coilover system/sleeves I'm looking for lowering springs with no modifications.

1.) What are your guys' experience with Megan Racing Lowering Springs? Any sagging with them? If so, how many inches?
2.) Also, rolling the rear fender? I notice it's a bit thicker than the front.

Thanks guys! Really appreciate it! biggrin.gif

You're probably going to have to roll the rear fender, as it'll sit pretty close, if not flush. Or you can camber a bit to avoid that.

Personally, I've always had good luck with Eibach springs. No sagging issues. I've heard some bad things about Megans springs though. The coilovers are a good option, but the springs are not as good.

i have a set of megan lowering springs. they give about a inch and a half drop, makes it look nice without bottoming out on speed bumps or driveways. theres no need for fender rolling. im running 215/40R17 on my celi

RabidTRD, thanks for the reply! Was debating between on Eibach but it wasn't gonna give me the amount of drop I needed so I got the Megan's and I'm awaiting to see how they work. Luckily I got a buddy working at a shop that'll just install the springs & if it doesn't sit well, Eibach or Sprint Lowering Springs was my next option..

99celiGT, thanks for the reply! Purchased them and awaiting for the weekend to install! Hopefully it isn't bad for 215/45/17 since it's just the next size up wall-wise. woot.gif
Btw, what kind of exhaust are you running on your '95?
