Hi guys, just bought myself a stock gen 6 celi and was wondering if I bought wheels with a zero offset, would they fit the stock car without rubbing?
I have seen a photo of a celica running these wheels here just not sure if they will fit mine though. the wheels are XXR002 thanks. |

I highly doubt those are 0 offset. If it was 0 offset with the standard 16x8 xxr002. It would really poke and you'll need to run negative camber or just run mexiflush. I believe those aren't xxrs. I don't think xxr made any 5 bolt pattern for those? The ones in the pics are probably around the 20 offset. and yes. You'll have to get a fender roll if you want to go low with any wheels.

I should have researched it better, found out XXR make these wheels with a 38 offset which is most likely what the ones in the picture are, thanks for your help

I never recommend 0 offset wheels for standard cars with no fender flares. It'll be to low of an offset and would kill your tires like no tomorrow with all the negative camber like them Hondas.

also be aware of caliper clearance. I havent had stock calipers for a while so I cant remember how much they poke out from the rotor hat surface.

I'd say you'll be safe with a maximum of +40mm offset on most sizes for non gt4 calipers but for gt4 calipers. My guess would be maximum of +35mm offset. These numbers are just general.

i have 8" rims, et38.. on rear i have 15mm spacer on front i have 5mm spacer ... all round id say it could come out another 10mm for flush fitment
with lowering the rear would need guard rolling, and flatting that lip should give u about 15mm clearance -------------------- Mike W

That's the same wheel I'll be running and I can guarantee you that they will not fit stock without tire stretch and camber.
To make it fit, you have to run 195 or less tires and 45 or 50 height on the 16" rims. -------------------- 1994 Toyota Celica GT-S 5S-FE 190k Miles. ^exactly why I say you'll need to run negative camber for sure for them to fit. It'll cost a lot to run on low offset wheels.

They fit on 195/45/16's. You just can't roll as low as I am without rolling fenders. (or with a hard suspension setup) I will be cambering mine in. -------------------- 1994 Toyota Celica GT-S 5S-FE 190k Miles. Project car 1992 Toyota Celica GT 5S-FE 170k Miles.
