Celica is in hibernation while i finish my full LED conversion. Ordered more LEDs yesterday and waiting for them to come in the mail. Starts up without a hiccup though in the cold. To be on the safe side i filled it up with premium and Heet.
Have you packed yours away cheela?

We had temperatures hovering between -2 and 0 yesterday and wind chill on top of that. The Celica almost didn't want to start. Almost. Toyota > Mother Nature.

I kinda miss my annual trips back home to Ontario for Xmas/New Years where the first thing after dropping my bags, I'd take either my mom's Tercel or my dad's Oldsmobile and drive around the winter wonderland for an hour going 10km/h due to all the snow.

They just moved to the west coast so I won't be doing much of that anymore. Enjoy the snow while you can! XD

http://www.homedepot.com/p/SharkBite-1-2-i...8LFA/202270515#

Turn off the main water valve that shuts off the whole house!
look for the wet spot in the sheetrock and rip it out. you should find the copper pipe inside and feel along it till you find the spot where it swelled and split.
get one of these sharkbite slip couplings (dude who made these is a genius), just cut out 2-3" section where its bad and you slide one end of this slip coupling down
and then slide it back over the other side using the release tool.
then worry about fixing the sheetrock later.

lol. I don't know how you Canadians do it.

I moved to Whistler BC a week ago for the winter.
The morning I left it was minus 50 celsius. The day I got here it was minus 1 celsius.
I'm still asking myself how I did it haha

yep, south hemisphere is even closer to the sun in summer than we are, and even farther away from the sun during winter.

...and we still have nimrods here who say "it's really cold here today so Climate Change must be a hoax."
/sigh
