Whats the difficulty in swapping my 5sfte out for a st205 3sgte motor and transmission or a 3rd gen mr2 3sgte motor and transmission? I didn't know how much difference there was in the transmission and axles and whatnot. Is one easier than the other?

I just realized this is in the wrong thread. Would someone like to move it? Or do you even do that on this forum?

mr2 transmission will need work, as is for a rear engine not front engine. the mr2 engine will have components facing differently.

read the swap information in the stickies.

the MR2 engine is the same engine, but all the accessories are mounted differently. you want an engine from a celica ST205
