Hello guys!
I was wondering what size exaust piping will I go for in Beams 3SGE Redtop, 2.5 inch or 3 inch piping?

Please mention pros/cons for going for a 3inch piping.
Thanks! biggrin.gif

2.5 seems to be the best option.

Why?

Just because.

There are plenty threads discussing exhaust diameter differences and pro's/con's

I was just asking because my current piping is 2.5 but it is in bitter condition. Need to do the piping again. I have a 3inch 3SGTE fresh piping laying around, so if the 3 inch does good for the Beams I will go for it or else I will stick to 2.5. Asking in terms of back pressure..

Stock inner diameter is 57mm with the outer diameter of 60mm. And most aftermarket exhaust for ST202 are 60mm inner diameter with 62mm outer diameter piping

3" is way too big for the BEAMS. Most of us go for 2.5".
