Im guessing that by the time you drop your 3s into your ST you will already have spent somewhere close to 5,000. Now if you plan on leaving it stock, which you cant because you need a FMIC so your looking at another 300-400 for the intercooler and then probly 300 for piping you are up to 5,600. Now if you want to put a boost controller on and anything else you feel like your just adding on to that 5,600. So lets say your at 5,600 for the whole engine setup. Now comes the pain in the ass. You either need a new floor frame so your axle can fit down the middle, or you will have to hammer it out, whilie moving your oil pan and possibly your exhaust setup. You also need to order the GT4 axles and by this time you are past your 7000.

Im not saying its not feasable, because it is, just its cheaper to import yourself a GT4 and swap your ST parts over to make it state legal.

I and probly everyone else will agree with the latter.

an st205 chopped in half...and a lot of money if your not doing it yourself.

I think he already sold his, but even if you did get one over here, it would be illegeal to drive on the roads. You'r best bet with $7000 is to just do the swap and not worry about AWD because you'll most likely need a lot more money than that unless you can do a good majority of the work yourself.

hey,
mine is already here and to make less 'illegal" i am converting using a 99 celica to LHD ..

only real way to drive it and not have issue ..

i want 4wd and 255hp toyota and i don't care what side i am on to drive it ..

BTW sell your US car and get close to 15k saved up as my supplier will have his mint green 97 gt4 converted to LHD and new vins for 15k .. it has lower mileage then the red one on bay .if you live in a inspection or emission state you might have issues with a car like this .. i mean motor wise ..

will be for sale later this summer ..

if you want a roof cut i can help you out but car will not be here until late summer ..

looking at 3500-5000k for roof cut just depends on what year and if car was damaged ..
