Do you think my street tires are reusable?
The shop that took them off messed on the rubber around the band. Edit: This is on all 4 of them. Picture:

1. It is easier to criticize than to aid.
2. Even though we may tinker on our cars, tire mounting is probably often professionally handled. 3. Show him the damage now so he can witness himself, when you want the tires mounted have him do it. Any issue at that point should be resolved by him if he is a reputable mech and friend (and has some balls to admit he mucked it up.). I don't think those tires are salvageable, seeing as there is now a balance issue, not to mention poor seating; imagine the sidewall flexing under load, instant tire failure seems like.
