Hi,
Looks like the bolt holding down my spoiler is broken. It is secure, but loose so it makes noise. How would you suggest fixing it? How do you come off and are put back on properly? I am attaching photos, one of the hole on the underside of the trunk, not sure if you can see, but it appears to be a bolt that is not secure. Also attaching a side view of the spoiler so you can see its loose. This post has been edited by homebuilder: Feb 12, 2013 - 10:00 PM |

the correct way to fix this is to take the spoiler off and drill and tap a new stud on the spoiler so you can bolt the spoiler back on.
if that is too much work. Go buy some automotive grade double side sticky tape and tape the spoiler back on. You can find this tape at autozone or orielys. look for the 3m tape. |
